Retractable Screens create an ideal transition between indoor and outdoor living, allowing you to enjoy fresh air while keeping insects at bay. These screens are easily operated with a motorized system, providing convenient control over ventilation and privacy with just a push of a button.
Retractable garage door screens are affordable and retract almost completely when not in use and can be installed on top of your existing garage door. Versatile, sturdy, mold and mildew resistant, with just a push of a button you can transform your garage space into a versatile workshop, gym, recreational area, or additional living space, while maintaining proper airflow and providing added security.
In pergola applications, out retractable screens offer protection from sun glare, heat, and unwanted pests; creating a more enjoyable and comfortable outdoor oasis. Whatever your outdoor space may be, retractable screens offer flexibility and functionality to enhance your overall living experience.
We use marine grade materials in our screens, things like powder coated and anodized aluminum components, UV protected Nylons, stainless steel fasteners, and top quality fabrics to ensure you will not have the corrosion, rust staining problems and premature screen failures that a lot of other motorized screen products have.
Our self-tensioning and exclusive end retention system reduce 99.9% of all problems associated with other types of screens. No need to adjust tracks for optimal performance, no zippers to break and no screens coming out of their tracks.
Our screens are engineered to be nearly silent when they are down, even if it is windy, even in a hurricane. Some screens like those with magnets are really loud when there is a little bit of wind. But our screens use springs that apply an even steady tension to the screen so you can enjoy a relaxing afternoon or evening on your patio with just the sounds you want to listen to and none of the banging.

You don’t have to put your screens up if it gets a little windy or if a squall comes through. Fenetex screens can handle very high windspeeds.
Fenetex manufactures screens for insects, shade, inclement weather and even hurricane screens made from advanced hybrid ballistic fabrics that are approved by the Florida Building Commission for High Velocity Hurricane Zones where wind speeds can be in excess of 150MPH.
Every screen is crafted exactly to our customers specifications. We have a broad selection of standard extrusion colors, fabrics and system options. But if you want to match a certain paint color, or if you have a particular fabric in mind that we don’t stock, we can usually accommodate your requests.
We'll schedule a time to meet with you in your home, walkthrough the material options available, and provide you with a Free Estimate.
There is no such thing as a cheap retractable screen because even the lowest cost ones can seem expensive. Fenetex falls into the best value category. We say this because our prices are about 10-15% more than the least expensive options and 10-15% less than the most expensive options. There are a lot of advantages to be gained by spending the extra 10-15% we charge over the budget screens but nothing to be gained by spending more. The best way to get pricing is to contact us so we can get you in touch with our estimator to assist you with your needs.
Fenetex built their first hurricane screens in 2007, many of these screens are still being used today. We are not aware of any screen systems that are no longer serviceable due to age. Sure, some screens or components have had to be replaced or repaired over the years due to wear and tear from things like prolonged sun exposure, prolonged use as a wind break or having been through a very strong hurricane or simple neglect. These kinds of things aren’t manufacturing defects so they are not covered by the warranty but if a screen is repairable, we make repairs and provide parts at reasonable costs.
Yes. Fenetex offers a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects on extruded and fabricated aluminum components, proprietary parts, and the welded seams on screens. 5 year UV stable fabric warranty, some fabrics are additionally protected by a manufactures warranty of up to 10 years. 5 year warranty on electronic components. 5 year paint finish warranty unless you are within ½ mile of an ocean then it is a 2 year warranty. Exclusions include things like damage caused by water, fire, wind events, misuse, neglect and wear and tear from use. Items needing repair can be returned to Fenetex for repair at reasonable costs.
Yes. The fabric that we use is very strong, stronger than steel by weight actually. We use the same kind of advanced fibers that are used in bullet proof vests giving our hurricane screens the same level of strength as a high quality aluminum roll shutter. There are four main benefits to a Fenetex Hurricane screen over metal shutters and other screens.
1. You can use them for a lot more than just hurricanes, 2. they are quiet, 3. You can see through them, 4. They aren’t damaged by small impact strikes since flying debris tends to bounce off like a trampoline.
Yes, everything we make has an FR rating which means that it won’t burn - it will char when exposed to an open flame but it won’t catch fire. This is an important safety consideration that should not be overlooked but sadly often is.
